Urea is white, solid, odorless or slightly ammonical, water soluble, produced in both granular, pills or pastilles with nitrogen content of 46%.
- Prill or granular urea is a small aggregate that often comes in the form of a dry sphere or oval shape.
- Because of its small size, prilled urea has been extensively used in the fertilization of sod and turf.
Leafy growth
Urea provides plants with Nitrogen to promote green leafy growth and make the plants look lush.
Low Cost
Urea has the lowest cost per pound of nitrogen compared to other single-element fertilizers.
Easy to store
It is easy to store at room temperature and does not pose as a fire risk for long-term storage.

Storage
- Bulk urea must not be stored outdoors and the solid material should be stored at room temperature.
- Bulk urea must be stored in closed, dry, ventilated, warehouses.
- Big bags of urea and slow release fertilizer shall be stored in an upright position, stacked on pallets without protruding nails, wood screws, wood chips or other sharp objects that could damage the big bag.
