Crystal Melamine
Melamine is an organic base chemical most commonly found in the form of white crystals rich in nitrogen. Melamine is combined with formaldehyde to produce melamine resin.
- Nitrogen constitutes approximately 66% of this highly durable material.
- In contact with fire, it is extremely heat resistant and has a late ignition time.
Durable
Melamine is one of the most durable cabinet materials on the market today, noted for its strong resistance to excessive moisture, heat, and stains.
Fire-Retardant Additives
Melamine and its salts are used as fire-retardant additives in paints, plastics, and paper.
Flame-Resistant
Basofil fibres have low thermal conductivity, excellent flame resistance and self-extinguishing. This makes it useful for flame-resistant protective clothing.
